Job Description

Legal and Client Support Officer Role:

The Legal and Client Support Officer, Clerk Grade 3/4 role is an essential position within our existing administration division at a reputable government agency. This role is responsible for providing critical support to clients with complex legal and non-legal issues.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and client-focused professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They will possess strong communication skills and be able to engage effectively with both clients and legal staff across various interactions.

The successful applicant will have a solid administrative background and be proficient in using a range of technologies to support daily operations. They will also demonstrate a keen attention to detail and prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing initial points of contact for clients with complex legal and non-legal issues
  • Organizing support or services as required
  • Delivering clerical and legal administrative support to legal teams to achieve best outcomes for clients

Requirements and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Be willing to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Hold Australian citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid visa to work in Australia
  • Possess a solid administrative background and proficiency in using various technologies
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and maintain accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of work
