About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled WHSEQ Advisor to join our Building and Construction Services team in South Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on work health and safety matters to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the WHSEQ Management System to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and report on WHSEQ performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement SWMSs and Project Risk Assessment Registers to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on WHSEQ matters.
  • Assist in the development of SIFER Self Assessments and Safe Act Observations.
  • Ensure that all WHSEQ documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV or greater in Work Health and Safety.
  • Construction White Card and current driver's license.
  • General knowledge of building and construction site works, trade-qualified desired.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills to build positive relationships with clients, project teams, management, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol and fit-for-work assessment.
  • Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance.
