Key Opportunities in Steel Fabrication
Our business is seeking a highly skilled fabricator to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.
The selected candidate will be responsible for installing and erecting steel structures, specifically architectural stairs in commercial fit-outs.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with the team.
Core Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fabricator
- Qualification as a boilermaker or equivalent
- Hands-on experience working on commercial sites
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in reading shop drawings and site marking plans
- Knowledge of safe operation of welding machines and other tools
- Understanding of applicable safety equipment and practices
- Team player
- Valid Australian driver's licence and own vehicle
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow shop drawings/plans to meet project requirements
- Work safely and adhere to safety rules
