Pathology Collection and Data Entry Specialist
This role involves contributing to a customer-focused pathology collection service across various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities- Perform venepuncture and other duties pertaining to specimen collection, data entry, processing and delivery into sites for pathology investigations as required.
- Provide high-quality patient care services to all referrers and consumers.
- Certificate III in Pathology Collections or previous experience in venepuncture is required.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and clinical staff.
- Familiarity with pathology terminology and requirements is essential.
- Eligibility for a rural health workforce incentive scheme allowance of up to $5,000 plus superannuation per annum.
- Accrued days off in addition to annual leave.
