About the Role
The Healthcare Support Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our organisation's goal of building healthier rural communities. This dynamic position involves a variety of tasks, including:
- Transferring patients within the hospital
- Maintaining linen and supplies
- Cooking and preparing light refreshments for patients
- Delivering meal trays to patients
- Cleaning patient rooms, wards, and public areas
This is a physically demanding role that requires reliability, punctuality, and excellent communication skills. You will be part of a supportive team and have opportunities to develop your skills and career.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in a rotating roster, including after-hours, weekends, and on-call shifts. You will be expected to remain calm under pressure and handle medical equipment with confidence.
