Head Pastry Chef Job Summary

About the Opportunity:
  • We are seeking an experienced Pastry Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of our pastry kitchen.
  • The successful candidate will assist with menu development, manage costs, and lead a team of skilled pastry chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily pastry production and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
  • Manage labor costs and inventory levels to maximize efficiency.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of pastry chefs to achieve excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (desired).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
