Role Summary:

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with community groups, cultural networks, and volunteers. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Community Outreach
    • Developing effective outreach plans to engage local community groups and cultural networks
    • Establishing strong relationships with key community leaders and stakeholders
    • Identifying opportunities for volunteer recruitment and leadership development
  • Volunteer Management
    • Coordinating volunteers to participate in voter outreach activities such as door knocking, distributing flyers, phone-banking, and street stalls
    • Mobilizing volunteers to attend events and support community engagement initiatives
  • Training and Development
    • Conducting training sessions and workshops to build capacity and scalability of the volunteer base
    • Providing regular progress reports to stakeholders and committees

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

The following goals are expected to be achieved:

  • Engage 400 volunteers through voter outreach activities
  • Deliver 20 volunteer training workshops within a specified timeframe
  • Ensure consistent weekly participation of 50 volunteers in voter outreach activities
  • Hold regular meetings with community groups to foster collaboration and support
