Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Team Coordinator to join our Language Services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of remote telephone interpreting customer service provision, monitoring work distribution and controlling the quality and timeliness of services provided.

The Team Coordinator will act as an escalation point for complex enquiries, monitor staff performance and address any issues in a timely manner. They will also allocate work, control quality and timeliness of services provided, and escalate any issues according to agency policies and procedures.

This role requires excellent communication skills, experience in managing multiple competing priorities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multicultural team of customer service officers and translators to provide high-quality translation, transcription and interpreting services to a wide range of customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in providing quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple competing priorities and ability to adapt to changing work environments quickly.
  • Experience working in language services industry (e.g. Translation/Interpreting experience preferred).
  • Experience in effectively coordinating small teams, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
