Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our passionate and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients with cancer.

  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
  • Effectively manage patients that are seen each day.
  • Facilitate effective lines of communication with all staff and provide feedback and up-to-date information regarding patients.
  • Ensure all patient interaction is documented, communicated, and actioned.
  • Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice oncology nursing standards.
  • Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience in Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Oncology is desirable but not essential.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
  • Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.
  • Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
