Construction Leadership Opportunity

Mackay Regional Council's Infrastructure & Operations department seeks a motivated and experienced construction leader to oversee civil projects, including roads and drainage infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the execution of civil construction projects.
  • Evaluate safety, quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction across all assigned projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members under remote supervision.
  • Promote and enforce Workplace Health and Safety standards.
  • Monitor job sites for plant and equipment efficiency and safety compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction.
  • Current QLD Manual Car 'C' Class Open Driver's Licence.
  • General Construction Safety 'White' Card.
  • Traffic Controllers Ticket (preferred).
  • First Aid Certificate (preferred).
