Job Title: Operating Room Support Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional support specialist to provide outstanding care and assistance under the guidance of clinical staff throughout the perioperative journey of patients undergoing general anesthesia.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care. As an Operating Room Support Specialist, you will work closely with clinicians to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and care to patients during their surgical journey under the supervision of clinical staff
  • Assist all clinical staff in caring for pediatric and adult patients, including transferring patients and assisting with preparation of theatres
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care by supporting clinicians

Requirements:

  • Recent experience as an Operations Assistant or equivalent
  • Demonstrate competence in manual handling and operating equipment related to the position
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • The ability to work independently without supervision when required
  • Ability to problem solve
