We are seeking an experienced Project Controller to join our team at ENGIE, a leading energy company in Australia. As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our renewable energy projects, working closely with the Project Manager and PMO Lead to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager in the management of project schedules, including coordinating and integrating project schedule updates on a monthly basis.
- Manage and control project costs, including forecasting and analysis of cost variances.
- Administer and monitor EPC payment claims and variations as directed by the Project Manager and PMO Lead.
- Coordinate all project reporting, including monitoring quality targets, standards, assurance, and control procedures.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all project financial and budget matters.
- Assist the Project Manager in administering and monitoring the project master risk management plan and register, and escalating project risks to the Project Manager as required.
- Perform contract administration, including drafting contractual letters and responding to variation proposals.
- Manage project correspondence and general administration, including the document management system Procore, as directed by the Project Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will have sound project and contract management experience, particularly with project controls, including the management of budgets, schedules, and claims. You will have knowledge of power generation technologies and experience in the delivery of renewable energy projects through construction to operations.
You will have excellent planning and prioritization skills, be collaborative in your approach, and action-oriented. You will also have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
