Financial Analyst Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled financial analyst to join our team. As a financial analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's transaction-related processes.

  • You will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive financial analysis, including project appraisal, negotiations, due diligence, and legal documentation. This will involve preparing credit submissions, managing credit and financial aspects of project analysis, and developing and reviewing financial models for business cases.

  • In addition, you will produce Project Finance Ratings using internal rating tools and monitor loan exposures through regular monitoring reports and reviews based on client meetings, site visits, financial reviews, and other research.

  • You will also gather and analyze project-related information through research, due diligence, and independent inquiry. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to maintain up-to-date knowledge and monitor projects assigned to the primary account officer.

  • We require your close collaboration with senior team members to structure, execute, and close transactions independently. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in project finance is required. A strong background in financial modeling, deal structuring, and infrastructure or energy sectors is essential.

  • You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and credit analysis is necessary. Familiarity with sector-specific frameworks such as PPA structures, concession agreements, EPC and O&M contracts is highly desirable.
