Sponsor Coverage Analyst Role

As a Sponsor Coverage Analyst, you will play a key part in the growth and success of our Global Client Banking & Investment division. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about building strong relationships with financial sponsors and delivering high-quality client servicing.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Pitch Books/Discussion Materials: Developing thematic dialogue, origination of M&A financing mandates and strategic financing dialogue with financial sponsors.
  • Support Senior Team Members: Engaging in dialogues of financing transactions (structuring, valuation analysis, peer analysis).
  • Client Relationship Management: Coordinating relationships with Financial Sponsor clients across Private Equity, Infra, Real Estate.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

As a Sponsor Coverage Analyst, you will have the chance to engage in independent research and analysis of customers and markets and apply critical thinking and attention to detail.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience at a leading Bank or Non-Bank Financial Institution.
  • An undergraduate degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience in debt transactions, developing presentations, preferably a focus on leveraged and acquisition finance, relevant knowledge of financial sponsors.
  • Robust credit base with strong financial analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products, and strong financial modeling skills.
  • Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets.
