Light Vehicle Automotive Trainee

This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience and training in the automotive industry. You will work alongside experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge.
- Learn about minor servicing of light vehicles, removing and replacing broken or defective vehicle parts, testing electrical systems, and diagnosing issues.
- Assist and observe mechanics, keeping work areas clean and tidy, moving and delivering cars, detailing vehicles.
- Operate automotive test equipment, follow safe working practices, use and maintain tools and equipment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your hands-on skills in a modern dealership environment. You will learn from experienced technicians and receive one-on-one mentoring from a dedicated consultant.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship, including theory studies.
- Strong sense of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and 'can-do' attitude.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Professional presentation at all times.
- Honest, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Fee-free training.
- Earn while you learn.
- PPE supplied and replaced free of charge.
This role is paid at award rate. You will also receive specialized one-on-one mentoring from a dedicated WPC Group Consultant.
