Compassionate Support Care Specialist

The Support Worker role is a vital position that involves assisting clients with high support needs, including those who require medical support and use wheelchairs.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate and skilled, with the ability to provide personal care and daily living support, promote autonomy in shared living environments, and foster positive relationships with clients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Assist with manual handling and use of aids
- Support clients with complex needs and medical requirements
- Foster independence and inclusion in shared living environments
- Build positive relationships with clients and families
- Manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Experience supporting high-needs disability clients
- Confidence in manual handling and use of aids
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for varied shifts and rostered work
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word & Outlook)
- Current Driver's Licence, Working With Children Check, NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
