About This Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in their homes and within the community.

Your support will include domestic tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and general home maintenance. You will also assist participants with personal care tasks and help them engage in various community activities.

  • Provide domestic assistance including household cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and general home maintenance.
  • Assist participants with personal care tasks as required, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Support participants in accessing the community, such as attending appointments, shopping, recreational activities, and social outings.

You will make a significant difference by ensuring participants have the support they need to live comfortably at home and participate in their local communities.

  • Domestic assistance tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
