About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Queensland. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older members of our community, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Your Day Will Include:

  • Providing domestic support services, including cleaning and laundry assistance
  • Assisting with meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Offering social support and access to lifestyle activities
  • Delivering personal care services, including assisting customers with daily living tasks, medication management, and mobility support
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Transporting customers to appointments
  • Supporting customers with complex care needs, such as dementia

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You are passionate about supporting older adults and empowering them to maintain their independence
  • You hold a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and have access to a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential aspect of this role
  • You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can work autonomously, knowing when to seek guidance from your Manager
