Job Role:

A highly skilled CSSD Coordinator is required to play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services within our Sterilization Unit. This exciting opportunity will be based at our Pimlico campus, where you will support our evening shift team working Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

The successful candidate will provide direct support, coaching, and education to technicians within the unit. Your responsibilities will include driving quality outcomes on a daily basis, focusing on the delivery of excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical expert within the Sterilization Unit, demonstrating specialized knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the network to support daily operations and organizational activities.
  • Lead daily staff meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Implement and coordinate the education program for Sterilization Technicians.

Requirements:

We are seeking an individual with a Certificate III in Sterilization, advanced knowledge of AS/NZS5369:2023 and compliance requirements. You will also need excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, demonstrated people management and leadership experience in a Sterilization setting.
