Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging programs and activities that promote skill-building, leadership, and personal growth among young individuals

  • Advocate for the rights and needs of young individuals within the community
  • Provide educational resources and conduct training sessions on relevant topics
  • Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate 4 or higher in Child/Youth and Family Intervention or related fields
  • Previous experience working with youth, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of community resources and social services
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in promoting positive youth development
  • An Australian driver's license is required
