We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Piping Designer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality piping design and drafting services that meet our clients' and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver piping design and drafting services that meet project requirements on time and within budget.
- Perform piping design and drafting services, including identifying and reporting changes to project scope, preparing engineering drawings and documentation, and checking drawings and documents in accordance with our checking procedures.
- Provide technical support and assistance within the Design Team and liaise with engineering teams.
- Communicate effectively with the discipline team and project stakeholders.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Requirements:
- Experience in piping design and drafting, preferably in the areas of mining and oil & gas greenfield projects.
- Skills and experiences in developing 3D models and converting them to ISOs, and preferably experiences with drawing pipe racks and similar structures.
