Mechanical Engineer - Cement Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in cement manufacturing. This role involves working on real-world engineering challenges, contributing directly to the performance, reliability, and improvement of large-scale mechanical systems and maintenance operations.

The successful candidate will assist with root cause investigations and reliability-focused problem solving, develop maintenance strategies and procedures, and support and deliver SIB (Sustain in Business) projects to improve equipment performance.

  • Collaborate with site engineers, maintenance managers, and trades teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Contribute to operational support across multiple sites.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably focused on maintenance or reliability.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver's licence (site travel required).
  • A proactive, inquisitive mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Confidence engaging with a variety of stakeholders across teams.

Familiarity with SAP is a bonus but not required.
