Job Overview:

A key aspect of this role is managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors.

As a business development specialist, you will develop and maintain a deep understanding of the financial needs of your clients, driving growth through tailored solutions.

You will work closely with product partners and other stakeholders to design, structure, and execute deals that meet the unique needs of your customers.

With access to cutting-edge systems and technologies, you will have the tools to succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customer requirements and providing targeted solutions
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external networks to support deal execution
  • Structuring deals in conjunction with relevant product and specialist teams
  • Proactively managing credit and operational risks
  • Applying Relationship Credit Approval Discretion as necessary

Requirements:

  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers and maintain high levels of satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of commercial banking products and services
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and offer innovative solutions
  • Experience assessing, advising, monitoring, and/or approving customers' credit worthiness and credit risk
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions of credit facilities and other banking products to suit customers' goals
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive efficiency and create value
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and mitigation strategies
