About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Cyber Security Advisor to join our team at Suncorp. As a key member of our security leadership team, you will be responsible for providing industry-leading technical expertise and driving the delivery of our security operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT security, with experience in leading incident response, running high-performance detection/alerting systems, and performing technical investigations. You will also have expert knowledge of detection and alerting, incident response, technical investigations, hunting, threat intelligence, and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the business on significant security initiatives
  • Drive a security-aware culture within Suncorp
  • Coach and mentor staff and management on security best practices
  • Lead the development and implementation of security strategies and policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
