Job Title: Operations Manager

Lead a team of supervisors, engineers and technicians to oversee the production, technical and compliance activities across locally manufactured and imported transformer products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, including production planning, assembly, and quality control.
  • Coordinate the import and local integration of transformers sourced from international suppliers.
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce lead times and improve cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental, and ISO quality standards.

Electrical & Technical Management:

  • Provide technical oversight for the electrical design, testing, and commissioning of distribution transformers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Liaise with overseas suppliers to ensure imported units meet specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (essential); additional qualifications in Operations or Business Management desirable.
  • 7+ years' experience in transformer manufacturing, power equipment, or heavy engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of transformer design, testing, and Australian compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to manage supply chain, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
