Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at Stockland. As a key member of our Sustainability team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of our Decarbonisation and Circularity strategies.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for providing carbon accounting expertise to support internal and external reporting. You will also be responsible for monitoring the environmental sustainability landscape to ensure we are aligned with best practice.


Main Responsibilities
  • Support Decarbonisation and Circularity strategy implementation by working with internal stakeholders to ensure the Stockland upfront carbon process is being followed.
  • Support the Group Environmental Sustainability Manager in the development of collateral to provide clarity on our strategy and uplift capability across the business.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand progress, implementation challenges, and innovative solutions.

Reporting and Monitoring
  • Support periodic internal and external reporting efforts on decarbonisation and circularity metrics.
  • Prepare an annual basis of preparation documenting the methodology, data sources and assumptions underlying our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions inventory.
  • Support the Group Environmental Sustainability Manager to prepare papers on decarbonisation and circularity for leadership.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Sustainability Manager with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent.

You will have demonstrated experience in emissions accounting, data management and analytics, and stakeholder engagement.

Strong planning and change/project management skills are essential, as well as the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects.
