Transformative Support Specialist

The Behaviour Support Practitioner is a key role in delivering Positive Behaviour Support services to NDIS participants of all ages and abilities.
About the RoleThis position involves conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, and providing training and education to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Establishing and maintaining relationships with participants and key stakeholders.
- Conducting thorough FBAs and developing tailored Behaviour Support Plans.
- Delivering comprehensive training and education to stakeholders.
- Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.
- Collecting and monitoring data to track progress.
We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners who possess a strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices.
- Previous experience working with the NDIS and being endorsed against the PBS Capability Framework.
- At least 1 year's experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- A relevant Bachelor's Degree.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience supervising or coaching others, or a willingness to develop clinical leadership skills.
- NDISWC/WWCC or a willingness to apply.
