The Job Opportunity

Our company is seeking a reliable Automotive Trade Assistant to work alongside our experienced workshop trades personnel at our depot in Western Australia. The primary duties include assisting the day-to-day mechanical servicing and repairs to our fleet of Rigid and Prime Movers and associated trailing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with mechanical servicing and repairs of vehicles and equipment.
  • Support the workshop team in maintaining a safe and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles and equipment.

Requirements for Success:

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in a vehicle workshop environment essential.
  • BASIC MECHANICAL SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Maintaining a safe, organized work area.
  • Must have full time work rights in Australia.
  • Hold a valid driver's licence and own vehicle to get to/from work.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
