Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with clients and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have intermediate computer skills and a professional demeanor.

  • Maintain existing client relationships and provide exceptional service
  • Organize and attend internal renewal strategy meetings
  • Attend client meetings and respond to emails and phone calls promptly
  • Prepare client documents and maintain spreadsheets and records
  • Review leases and contracts, provide coverage advice, and recommend additional coverage
  • Provide bid costing and quote premium finance contracts as required
  • Follow up on accounts receivable and maintain continuing education credits

The selected candidate will thrive in a team environment, work well with others, and represent the company's brand and values confidently and professionally.

Requirements:
  • Level 2 Insurance License
  • Minimum 3-5 years Commercial Lines experience
  • CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation an asset
  • University/College education preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Applied Epic
  • Friendly professional demeanor and good business acumen
