Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate facilities tasks and services to ensure quality and timely delivery to the client.
  • Manage vendor relationships, services, and contracts to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report vendor performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage property and tenancy-related issues, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with financial and administrative requirements, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Participate in initiatives and management to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Conduct regular facility audits to identify maintenance and OH&S issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance reports, certificates, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Team to coordinate minor churn, moves, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Be available on-call for emergency needs outside of regular working hours.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in facilities management.
  • Strong understanding of financial management and controls.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and autonomy, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with a professional attitude.
  • Demonstrates organizational abilities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and set priorities.
  • Logical and analytical thought processes, with good problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Experience with Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
