About the Role

The Human Resources Generalist will support the HR Business Partner in delivering various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR reporting, talent management, compliance, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to leadership team members, escalating complex critical matters to the HR Lead and/or Human Resources Business Partner.
  • Coordinate performance management processes including performance appraisals, reviews, feedback, and development plans.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist in employee relations investigations and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
  • Monitor and generate regular reports on HR activities and metrics.
  • Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Action operational HR documents including change in terms and conditions of employment, subsequent variation to contract, and termination advice.

Requirements

Certificate IV in Human Resources or above.

5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role preferably in the mining, civil, construction, and facilities management industry.

Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
