Job Overview

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability of plant and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide maintenance and engineering solutions to enhance overall performance.

The Role
  • Lead and supervise Mechanical Technicians; oversee maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods.
  • Ensure preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Investigate process, plant, and equipment failures, identify the root cause, and develop permanent solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise in Manufacturing facilities on-site.
  • Nurture strong working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering.
  • Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling / packaging / palletising.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position.
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
