Assistant Store Manager Job Description

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Open and close the store in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring efficient task completion and effective communication.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, attending to their needs and inquiries at the register and elsewhere.
  • Order, receive, and stock merchandise, setting up windows and in-store displays as required.
  • Complete timely cycle counts and process product returns, price changes, and markdowns efficiently.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule Associates and Keyholders, submitting reports and payroll on time.
  • Maintain and delegate daily tour book entries/store tasks, making bank deposits and attending to daily paperwork and emails.
Requirements:
  • General retail experience for 2-3 years.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
