Job Summary:

The Victorian Public Sector seeks an experienced Risk Adviser to deliver insurable risk advice and lead client relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in insurance and/or client relationship management, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies for clients across various industries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including public sector clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct needs analysis, solution implementation, and monitoring to ensure optimal risk transfer arrangements.
  • Lead the design and delivery of insurance products, focusing on customer-centric solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve service efficiency.
  • Monitor progress and report on key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, client relationship management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Certified member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) or equivalent.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial, or a related field (desirable).
  • Fit and proper person under APRA guidelines.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment with regular office attendance required. Interstate candidates must be willing to relocate to Victoria.
