Role Overview

This is a permanent position, working 38 hours per week. As a QHSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the site team on QHSE matters by providing necessary guidance and contributing to the Group QHSE strategy and plan.
  • Reviewing and refining QHSE KPIs, preparing reports, procedures, and management plans.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving internal QHSE systems and processes.
  • Coordinating and facilitating relevant HSE training for employees as per their role requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining management systems documentation.
  • Coordinating the risk and hazard management programme.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation, codes of practice, and standards.
  • The ability to manage non-conformances through effective corrective action review and assessment.
  • Experience in influencing and effecting impactful QHSE changes in team culture.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
