Community Disability Support Worker

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to support a customer located in Trafalgar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support with daily living tasks, enabling the individual to live an independent life.

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
  • Assistance with bowel care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with manual handling or physical disabilities
  • A valid Australian Drivers License (minimum P2)
