Job Title: Academic Support Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our academic support team in Sydney.

This role involves providing guidance and support to students on academic concerns, cultural adaptation, and non-academic issues.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of mental health services, and experience working with international students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate student advising services and provide support on academic and personal matters.
  • Manage student accommodation requests and resolve non-academic issues promptly.
  • Supervise the team on academic interventions and problem-solving.
  • Ensure special care for underage students on campus.
  • Prepare for new student intake and answer phone calls from agents.
  • Facilitate student extensions and review invoices.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of mental health services and student welfare.
  • Experience working with international students and teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
