About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as the Principal of Holy Family Catholic School. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a Catholic Identity: Develop and strengthen the Catholic identity of the school, ensuring that the Catholic faith is deeply integrated into the daily life of the school community.
  • Drive Educational Excellence: Lead the school community in achieving high-quality educational outcomes for all students, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Support Early Learning and OHSC: Effectively support and oversee the Early Learning Centre and OHSC services, ensuring alignment with educational standards and child development best practices.
  • Create a Safe and Inclusive Environment: Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and supports the growth and well-being of students from all backgrounds.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop strong relationships with students, teachers, parents, and the broader community to enhance and build upon positive partnerships.
  • Lead Sustainability Efforts: Lead the school community in environmentally sustainable practices and promote ecological conversion.
About You
  • Catholic Eucharistic Community: Be an active member of a Catholic Eucharistic community, demonstrating a deep commitment to the Catholic faith.
  • Teaching Qualifications: Hold a valid teaching qualification and relevant post-graduate qualification in Education or a related field.
  • Leadership Experience: Have experience in leading inclusive teaching and learning in multicultural communities, with a proven track record of success.
  • Early Learning and OHSC Experience: Have experience with or understanding of Early Learning Centres and OHSC, with a commitment to providing high-quality services.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic Mindset: Have a strategic mindset and acumen to drive continuous growth and development of the school.
