Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Deputy Principal to join our senior leadership team at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools. This vital role requires close collaboration with the Principal to provide strong leadership and support to our school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Learning and Teaching areas, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and mission.
  • Pedagogy Coaching: Act as a Pedagogy Coach, providing guidance and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Team Management: Manage the Specialist Team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure effective team performance and student success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and communication among staff, students, and parents, ensuring a positive and inclusive school community.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Principal or in a leadership role in education.
  • Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate study in education or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents.
