Job Title: Global Operations Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Outbound Processing team in Sydney, ensuring timely and effective delivery of domestic and international payments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with APAC Manager and Global Operations to develop and deliver a scalable payments and deals processing operation.
  • Ensure accurate and confidential payment data is processed within tight deadlines.
  • Validate payment information, local routing requirements, and regulations are met.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on international and domestic payments, schemes, and systems.
  • Built strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders, improving service delivery and workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in settlement processes, adhering to client details in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Handle escalations professionally.
  • Drive the team's performance to meet payment cutoffs and Service Level Agreements.
  • Deliver results through effective team management and structure.
  • Train and support Operations Associates, driving a culture of continuous performance improvement.
  • Accountability for managing employees, providing performance management practices.
  • Support management in audit requests, refining procedures, and defining service level agreements.
  • Maintain banking partnerships.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making and optimize operations.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in administrative and team lead roles.
  • Previous experience in the financial/banking industry, especially with global payment formatting requirements.
  • Experience with SWIFT banking system, payment processing, and investigations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
  • IT literate with ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently under tight deadlines.
