Job Description

This is a challenging Registered Nurse role that involves providing top-quality care and support for patients. The successful candidate will possess a solid clinical background and a commitment to excellence, with the ability to assess patient needs, administer treatments, and coordinate care in a dynamic high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques to patient care.
  • Provide skill and alertness in reacting to emergency situations.
  • Possess knowledge of training and teaching methods.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills to develop rapport with patients and co-workers.
  • Utilize practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and guidelines; skill in collecting a variety of samples.
  • Perform routine, urgent, and emergency care.
  • Triage and provide medical advice to patients within the scope of practice.
  • Conduct blood pressure checks, weigh patients, perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), draw blood, and collect urine samples.
  • Manage mail and laboratory and x-ray reports; receive, dispatch, direct, and file relevant documents.
  • Maintain clinics in a manner suitable for dispensing care.
  • Manage sterilization equipment and the 'clean' and 'dirty' utility rooms.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Be licensed or eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse in a relevant jurisdiction.
  • Have a solid clinical background with the ability to assess patient needs, administer treatments, and coordinate care.
  • Be able to work in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
