**Healthcare Support Role**

This role provides assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services to patients and clients. The Allied Health Assistant will support the Sydney Local Health District in ensuring optimal health outcomes for older people who are clients of Aged Chronic Care and Rehabilitation services across the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative and clinical support to allied health professionals in their daily work activities.
  • To assist in the coordination of care plans for older people with complex needs.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • To participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting or an allied health-related environment.
  • Successful completion of Certificate III or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or other equivalent qualification.
  • Current NSW driver's licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
