Healthcare Assistant

This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of quality healthcare services by assisting in the cleaning and waste management of clinical and non-clinical areas within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide efficient and effective cleaning services according to infection control guidelines and hospital policies.
- Remove and dispose of waste in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Distribute essential supplies as required.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- The ability to work flexible shifts with varying start times is necessary.
- Candidates must be capable of working at heights and possess knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
- Prior experience in cleaning within a healthcare or commercial facility is highly valued.
- A willingness to clean rooms occupied by individuals with infectious conditions is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for prioritizing and organizing workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital.
- Demonstrated understanding of universal precautions and waste segregation is necessary.
