Job Description

Broad exposure to in-house legal matters across corporate, commercial, property, leasing and disputes is key for this role. You will work closely with senior leaders to contribute to strategic initiatives in a values-driven organisation. About the Role

Working as part of a small and collegiate legal team, you will provide pragmatic advice across the organisation. Reporting to the General Counsel, your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, leases, procurement contracts and property documents.
  • Advising on corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance issues, including disputes and problem-solving contractor matters.
  • Supporting the organisation in responding to disclosures, subpoenas and historic claims.
  • Contributing to company secretarial responsibilities and supporting special projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • 4 – 5 years' post-admission experience, ideally with a background in commercial, corporate or property law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills, with the ability to contextualise advice in a regulated environment.
  • Confidence working across a wide range of legal matters with sound judgement and commercial acumen.
  • A collaborative style and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Pragmatism, resilience and a solutions-focused mindset.
