Job Title: Operations Control Centre Operator

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Control Centre Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bus services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage network disruptions, driver roster changes, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns efficiently.
  • Provide accurate information to drivers about service conditions and problems on the network.
  • Support in managing emergencies and incidents professionally.
  • Ensure bus services are delivered in accordance with the network service plan.
  • Update event logs for late running, cancelled services, or motor vehicle accidents promptly.
  • Comply with reportable incidents and understand fatigue requirements fully.

Requirements:

  • Excellent IT skills and ability to navigate systems effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to safety and promoting a culture of 'Safety First'.
  • High level of resilience and patience to handle various issues.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflicting priorities efficiently.
  • Sound knowledge of the Redlands network and rail replacement routes.
  • Eye for detail and well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Confidentiality and availability to work a flexible roster including weekends.
