About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team at Oceania Ground Force. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving a customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service to our airline customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of customer service professionals to deliver high-quality service to airline customers, prioritizing safety and compliance at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Ground Services Manager to provide support and recommendations for daily operational requirements.
  • Develop and implement coaching and mentoring strategies to enhance employee performance and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage aircraft delays, staff shortages, and daily resourcing to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure rostering practices align with the Enterprise Agreement and drive a reporting culture to prevent safety threats and mitigate workplace incidents.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including airlines and regulatory bodies.
Selection Criteria
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service role in ground handling and/or airlines.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading operational teams.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to empower individuals and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate information and make informed decisions.
  • Thorough understanding of airport regulations and airline procedures and policies.
  • Immaculate grooming and deportment, with a strong sense of confidentiality and ethical behavior.
