Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily priorities with the Chef de Partie.
  • Work in the kitchen as directed.
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to minimize wastage.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in training and developing junior staff.
  • Act on behalf of the Chef de Partie if absent.
  • Perform general or specialized cooking, butchering, baking, or pastry duties, and supervise other kitchen staff.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures.
  • Promote a learning and professional environment.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by senior chefs.
  • Embody grooming standards.
  • Foster harmonious relationships within the team.
  • Maintain knowledge of food products.
  • Comply with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines.
