Job Title: Lead Hydrogeologist

The Lead Hydrogeologist is a recognised expert responsible for leading the provision of specialist hydrogeological assessments, advice and services to address the State's strategic priorities in relation to the sustainable management of water resources.

About the Role:
  • This role requires expertise in hydrogeology to provide assessments and advice to support sustainable water resource management.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing hydrogeological plans and strategies to meet the State's objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hydrogeological principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as geology, hydrology or environmental science.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in hydrogeology, preferably in a leadership or advisory capacity.
  3. Proven track record of delivering high-quality hydrogeological assessments and advice.
