Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain pressurised and central control irrigation systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reactive repairs to ensure system reliability.
  • Set up and manage flow systems and watering schedules in alignment with seasonal needs and recycled water limitations.
  • Train and support team members in irrigation best practices.
  • Maintain turf surfaces to a safe standard and report on turf health.
  • Monitor water meters and soil moisture for efficient system performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure high service standards.
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture and adhere to WHS procedures.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Irrigation Technology or Horticulture.
  • MR Driver's Licence.
  • Experience in commercial irrigation maintenance.
  • Knowledge of central irrigation software systems.
  • Ability to interpret irrigation plans and troubleshoot faults.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Backhoe competency and relevant plant operation licences.
  • ChemCert accreditation (transport and application).
  • White Card, First Aid, Manual Handling, and Work Zone Traffic Management.

Mandatory Clearances:

  • National Criminal History Check.
  • Pre-employment Medical.
