This is a key role that requires the provision of expert guidance on product quality, suitability and application.
The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a bridge between Quality, R&D, Production and Sales to ensure our flavours meet client expectations and deliver consistently excellent results.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical advice to account managers regarding ingredient and finished product quality, taste and suitability for client applications.
- Assess products to ensure they meet client specifications and shelf-life requirements.
- Identify potential quality issues, including deviations or product inconsistencies, and advise on corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and production teams to resolve quality challenges and improve formulations.
- Support client interactions by offering practical insights and recommendations, helping account managers address customer queries confidently.
- Maintain accurate records of product quality, customer feedback and any corrective measures taken.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in a quality assurance, quality control or technical support role within the food, flavour or ingredients industry.
- Strong understanding of product applications, sensory attributes and client requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical information into actionable advice for sales teams and clients.
- Collaborative mindset, working effectively with commercial, R&D and production teams.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing quality-related challenges.
